Promotes development of entire experimental methods relating to measurement of cell information, ranging from new construction of basic reaction principles for molecular biology to genomics methods that employ these principles. After aiming to develop techniques of world-leading precision that enable stable operation in the field, successfully developed three kinds of single-cell RNA sequencing methods. Each method has been published in top international journals of omics. Holds a Ph.D. (Life Sciences).
